DOJO SHUTDOWN – COVID-19

DOJO SHUTDOWN – COVIA-19 – DIRECTIVE GOUVERNEMENT DU QUÉBEC

Closed since March 16th, the Shidokan is closely following developments with l’Institute National de Santé Publique de Québec. Together, all sports federations are currently developing a deconfinement protocol and it will be sent to la Santé Publique for approval. To be clear, we do not have restart date yet, nor do we have authorization to reopen the Dojo.

What Shidokan will do prepare for a restart:

Before the Dojo reopens for training, we will do a major cleaning, disinfection, and painting of the facilities. We will respect the deconfinement protocol approved by la Santé Publique and the sports federation and we will implement new health and safety practices for staff and members.

Financial impact of Shidokan Shutdown:

Since the shutdown imposed by the Government of Québec, the Shidokan Dojo has reduced expenses to the minimum. However we still have some costs that affect our budget.

We do not know when the confinement will end, and ask your patience regarding the financial status of your inscription costs for year 2019/2020.

We will update our message as the situation develops.

N.B.

It is important to follow government’s health and safety guidelines. Please stay well. Be disciplined, respect the 2-meter rule, wash your hands often and try not to touch your face.

Please stay in touch with our Facebook page and web site.
